Did you know that invasive exotic plants are the second leading cause of habitat loss in our state -- second to development?

Learn how to identify and remove the most common and harmful plants using a variety of methods while keeping the overall health of the environment in mind.

The Florida Division of Parks & Recreation's Conservation Corps is giving a presentation at the Audubon House on Wednesday, August 30th at 6:30PM.

"The work we do is important and effective within State Park boundaries, but because invasives are spread through many means, the importance of educating homeowners and gardeners cannot be overstated." - Ruth Rhodes, Conservation Corps

This talk will highlight some of the most common invasives and the safest methods of removal. An invasives review bingo game with prizes will happen at the end of the talk, followed by a Q&A.

Let's get together to improve our beautiful Florida environment!
