Audubon Field Academy - Module 1, Florida's Habitats 
 
From coastal and upland habitats, to freshwater wetlands and more, this Field Academy module will provide participants with a deeper understanding of the ecological diversity in our state. We will review habitat change and its impacts on bird migration/populations and other wildlife. We will also review ways to maintain, revive and support healthy habitats. 
 
The Audubon Field Academy is designed for adults intereste in increasing their knowledge of Florida’s environment and wildlife with an emphasis on birds and their habitats.   This is a 1-year program with 7 classroom sessions taught by Florida Master Naturalist members and other local environmental experts. Participants will receive a Birding Naturalist Certificate from Audubon of Martin County. The fee for each class is $39.00 for class materials.
